Gaelic Storm
In 1997, Gaelic Storm was catapulted out of their adopted
hometown of Santa Monica, CA by an appearance as the party band in the blockbuster
film Titanic. Met by huge crowds on their first tour, the band quickly became
a live favorite in the celtic/world music genre by capturing the rowdy intimacy
of a neighborhood pub and delivering it to thousands of fans. From selling
out venues such as the House of Blues in Chicago to breaking the attendance
record previously set by Alan Jackson at the Albuquerque Bio-Park, Gaelic
Storms live performances are becoming legendary and from the looks of it,
their music won’t be far behind.
Gaelic Storm released their sixth studio album in
2006, Bring Yer Wellies.
